Our students have earned their success through hard work, resilience and exceptional effort – we are so proud of them all. High levels of attainment sit alongside excellent progress for all our students.
We believe these results vindicate our policy of not forcing all students to take the Ebacc pathway at GCSE. Instead, we believe that students should pursue an appropriate pathway of study at GCSE which they are passionate about and enables them to fulfil their potential. We are delighted that of the 23% of the year group who chose the Ebacc pathway, 20% were successful in achieving this.
There are no secrets to our success which is a result of top quality teaching, first class pastoral care and sheer enthusiasm for learning from inspiring young people. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of our young people, to thank the parents who have supported them so well and last, but by no means least, to thank the teachers whose hard work and commitment has made this success possible. What a team effort!
