On Thursday 15th June a group of Year 9 Geographers visited Westmill solar and wind farm outside Swindon for a 'Clean Energy Futures' event. 

 

They spent the day finding out about cutting edge renewable energy technology and were given fieldwork experience where they examined biodiversity and land use change in the area surrounding the wind turbines. The girls now have big plans for the sustainable future of DGS, so watch this space!
