On 9th July, Science Club were treated to a series of action-packed hands-on activities led by scientists from Wood plc to bring to life radiation protection and safety. While firing nerf guns, tossing balloons, handling green slime, lego and more, students found out about radioactivity, its uses and how to stay safe when using it. The scientists were impressed with the girls' enthusiasm and eagerness to take part as well as the quality of their questions. We would like to thank the staff from Wood plc who gave up their time to run this excellent event for Science Club.
