On Tuesday 19^th February, the DGS Year 10 netball team travelled to Wallingford School to compete in the annual netball tornament. The girls played their best despite the cold conditions and overall came 5^th out of 7 schools from around the area. A brilliant effort from all the girls, in particular Georgia Evans and Phoebe Thorpe who received Player of the Match over the course of the tournament. Well done girls for an excellent afternoon of netball!

The team was made up of Jasmine Barnes, Lily Brown, Georgia Evans, Mollie Janes, Sophie Martin, Freya Melrose, Rhiannon Seymour, and Phoebe Thorpe.
