We are proud to announce that DGS has successfully achieved the Bronze Games Mark in PE as part of the School Games Mark award. This award rewards and recognises a school's sport engagement and provision against the national benchmark to keep young people active. 

As part of the award, the School Games Mark recognises the maintenance and growth of a school's delivery of 60 minutes of physical activity for every child, the positive experiences students receive and a clear focus on the transition points in a student's school life. 

In achieving the bronze standard, DGS PE department are demonstrating they are providing and engaging their young people in high quality school games opportunities, evidencing to be an 'actively engaged school'.
