We are delighted and proud that Didcot Sixth Form Student, Elizabeth Cairns, has won third place in the Newnham College Essay Prize for Music this year. This prestigious competition is entered by students from across the country and comes with a £100 prize. Elizabeth's essay investigated how transport and infrastructure have effected the history of music and how it might effect the future of music. Well done, Elizabeth!
