Another fun and inspiring Ethics, Religion and Philosophy event took place at DGS today. We had a super set of volunteer speakers coming in and running sessions on a value important to their faith or organisation, as part of our Year 9 Values Day. This included; Buddhists Monks, a Humanist, a Local Councillor, the Royal Navy, a local Reverend, a trainee Priest and volunteers from Actoris and Action for Happiness - a fascinating day for our pupils (and staff). Our Year 9 pupils said: 'inspirational and useful', 'fun, interesting, 'enlightening' and 'valuable'. Thank you so much to all involved for your time today.
